Winter Cup – OK Class Results: OTK Karts Dominate- AGAIN! Joseph Turney triumphs after an amazing come back

Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart / Vortex) won the Winter Cup in the OK category (125cc Direct Drive Single Speed). The Englishman defeated the reigning World Champion Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart / Vortex) while debutant Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport – KR / IAME) finished third.

The British Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart / Vortex) defeated his opponents starting from the eleventh spot on the grid and completed an unbelievable comeback. With 8 laps to go, Joesph took the lead of the race from Robert De Haan (Energy Corse – Energy / TM Racing)
The Dutchman of the Energy house seemed to have everything in control for the victory, leading the race for the first 8 laps. But after being overtaken by Turney, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport – KR / IAME) and Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart / Vortex) followed suit, causing him to fall to 4th place.
Behind Joseph Turney. Travisanutto (Tony Kart) finished second, unable to pass his Tony Kart team mate. The Tony Kart Racing Team driver does not give anything to Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
The star of the weekend Nikita Bedrin (Ward Racing – Tony Kart / Vortex) finishes fifth, suffering back luck in this years Winter Cup due to a retirement in Super Heat.
Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic Kart Racing Department – Kosmic Kart / Vortex) was 6th after appearing to be able to challenge Travisanutto for the second place. Behind him finished Kirill Smal (Energy Corse – Energy / TM Racing) who after the Pole and the victories in the Heats certainly expected more from this weekend, also ruined by a contact in the Super Heat.
