New OTK Exprit Racing Team for 2020
The new Exprit Racing Team for 2020
Everything is ready for the 2020 season and the debut of the Exprit Racing Team to take the Exprit chassis officially onto the track in the FIA Karting and WSK competitions. The new structure backed by the OTK Kart Group will be led by the 2018 KZ World Champion Patrik Hájek.
A totally new team, but with lots of experience, top materials and high-tech structures of the OTK Kart Group, which Exprit is integral part since 2009.
The official location of the Exprit Racing Team is in Desenzano del Garda, while the Team Manager leading the drivers is Patrik Hájek, one of the top KZ drivers in the world. Patrik was already part of the OTK Group, having been part of the Kosmic Racing Department where he won, among the other titles, the 2018 KZ FIA Karting World Championship in Genk, Belgium.
The drivers of the new team, (not yet named), will be engaged in OK and OK-Junior, taking the Exprit Noesis R chassis powered by Vortex onto the track throughout an intense 2020 racing calendar. The official debut will be at the WSK Master Series at the beginning of February, in Adria. From there, they will go on with all the international race meetings by WSK as well as the FIA Karting competitions: the OK, OK-Junior European Championship and the OK, OK-Junior World Championship.
Until 2019, the Exprit brand was tied to the Lennox Racing Team of Jordon Lennox-Lamb who recently decided to part ways with the OTK Kart Group and partner the newly-created Charles Leclerc Karting Competition Department backed by Birel ART, which prompted OTK’s decision to search for a new supportive team heading for 2020.
