Another great weekend for Kartspeed and Croc Promotion.
This time at ROK Sonoma Triple Crown Race Weekend #1!

Michael Avansino put his Croc Promotion MC-01
Shifter kart on pole with a .214 second advantage over the GFC of Brian Keck.

A poor start in the heat races meant fighting his
way back through the pack of slower drivers. Unfortunately, some slow drivers just don’t realize they are in the way and this lead to a penalty for Michael,
which meant he had to start the main event in the back of the pack.

In the main event, with nowhere to go but forward,
Michael blasted through the field to end up with a 3 second advantage over CRG driver Aiden O’Neill and 3rd place GFC driver Brian Keck. Stellar Job Michael!

Torsten Olsen stuck in there all weekend as he drove
as hard as he could with an engine that was not making good power. Torsten, one of the very few drivers running a box stock VLR 100cc engine package, found out just how far off the pace you can be, when the engine sitting next to your right elbow is lacking in performance. But Torsten hung in there all day to drive the wheels off his kart finishing a respectable 15th.
