One Event Nationals Karts now available!
Its that time of year again when we offer for sale our largest selection of one race Shifter and Single Speed Sprint Racing Karts!
What are these karts?
Each year end we offer a limited selection of racing karts with very low hours, typically between 1.5 and 2.5 hrs of track time! Exact time is dictated by amount of sessions driven on track. Thus, some are driven more than others for a variety of reasons.
This year we will be offering a selection of OTK and CRG racing karts. These will be the very first of the 2020 models. We offer them as rolling chassis (“roller” means no drive train) or as complete karts with engines, ready for the track. This means will have a limited selection of single speeds (TaG’s) and KZ’s (Shifters) in both Tony Kart as well as CRG.
SHIFTER KART DRIVERS
The KZ karts are designed for all sprint kart shifter racing engines (except Rotax DD2 engines which requires its own specific chassis). If you are looking for, or currently have a Vortex ROK KZ, Iame KZ (Super shifter), or Honda CR125 engine package, the KZ chassis is what you are looking for (If you are building a shifter kart with something else, such as a 250 or 450cc four cycle motorcycle engine, this is chassis to start with).
SINGLE SPEED DRIVERS:
The Single Speed Karts, (sometimes referred to as TaG karts), are built for both direct drive and clutch driven single speed engine packages, some of which have the electric start option, referred to as TaG. So, if you have or plan to buy an IAME X-30, Vortex ROK GP, Rotax FR125, any of the OK engine family, PRD, Galaxy, VLR, KA100 or Briggs & Stratton 4 cycle engine package, this is the correct chassis application for you.
How Many are available?
As always, the number of drivers racing the karts for only one event is limited so the number we can offer for sale is also limited. This year the selection breakdown is as follows:
-10 Single Speed Tony Kart 401R’s (3 have been sold up to today)
-6 CRG Single Speeds (KT4’s)
-OTK Rookies (Cadet)- this one is not yet confirmed. It looks like we may have 2 of Rookies available Please contact us to confirm before ordering the Rookies.
When are they available?
The karts are brought back to the shop after the event, dis-assembled, cleaned/detailed, inspected and then re-assembled per customer order. This assures each kart has been pre-approved and will be built with the correct size seat per customer sizing, chassis set up and engine choice (we do the seat fitting regardless if the kart is sold as a roller or a complete). Plus, we add a brand-new factory graphics kit to any karts that have damaged graphics.
When do I need to place an order?
Each year we have sold out of stock well before the racing happens (third weekend of November). If you plan on purchasing one or more, the sooner the better. (Based on the past events, that means purchasing before the first week of November). The order process works as follows: a 50% Deposit reserves each kart for the customer and places that customer in our kart build queue. Obviously, it takes time to custom build each kart for each customer. To make it as fair as we can, each deposit secures that customers place in our kart build queue. For example, the person who calls first and places a deposit, is first in line. Each customer after that becomes number 2, 3, 4 etc. So, if getting your kart sooner vs later is more important, call right away!
