The Dark Rider Chassis is built specifically for the Rotax DD2 Engine Package.These along with the GP DD2 Shifters are very popular among our customers. As all Rotax Karts, the DD2 is specifically designed to race in a spec Rotax Class, in this case, against other identical DD2 powered karts. The only variance in this class is the driver and which chassis he chooses to mount the DD2 Rotax Engine package. The CRG line is often referred to as the Ferrari of the Sprint Kart Racing World. The CRG Dark Rider 32mm chassis fits the requirement for those looking for a slightly stiffer version of the Dark Rider chassis. The DD2, offered by Rotax, is their version of a 125cc shifter kart. Unlike their big brother, the ICC or Stock Moto, Rotax chose to go with a two speed gearbox operated by a very slick F-1 style paddle shifter. This kart is equipped with VEN-05 steel brakes, some of the best available in karting today. Just look at the size of the front and rear rotors....awesome stopping power.
