The versatile KT-1 is a bit mroe flexible to enable more mid-corner speed so vital for clutch driven karts (non-shifter). Typical engine packages for a KT-1 are the TaG engine packages (Rotax, Leopard, PRD, Vortex etc) or 100cc engines such as the Yamaha KT series. 4-cycle clone engines also work well.
