What is a Rotax Mini-Max? Specifically designed for children aged 9-15, the Rotax Mini Max is a water cooled, 125cc, 14 horsepower, two-stroke single cylinder engine that utilizes a centrifugal clutch and chain drive. Being a Rotax Engine, it is sealed so you do not have to worry about modifying it to remain competitive. The sealed, restricted engine provides less horsepower than the senior (adult) FR125 Rotax engine, making it a great learning tool and safe for young racers. The nice part of a Rotax package is that they can be 'uprated' very easily.  The restrictors can be removed so that as your son or daughter advances through the sport, you aren't required to constantly replace engines, making it the economical choice as well.
